Semester Drop


If a student cannot continue a semester for anyreason, he/she can drop the semester.  Semesterdrop fees are half of admission fees. But students have to apply for semesterdrop prior of registration of that semester.


Absence in Mid exam


It’s mandatory for all students to sit in midterm exam, if any students fail to attend in mid exam, there is chance to sit in recovery mid exam. But he/she will be charged for BDT 300 for each subject not exceeding BDT 1200. If he/she fails to sit in recovery midterm exam then students have to retake that particular subject with junior batch. Mind it that there are no chances to sit only for mid exam with junior batches. Obtaining full mark in final exam does not exempt students to sit in mid exam.

Absence in Final exam


It’s mandatory for all students to sit in Final exam, if any students fail to attend in final exam, there is chance to sit in Supplementary final exam. But he/she will be charged for BDT 500 for each subject not exceeding BDT 2000. If he/she fails to sit in supplementary final exam then students may attend that particular subject with junior batch but not for more than half of the credits on that particular semester. To promote in next semester, students have to complete at least half of the credits of present semester. Otherwise he can’t promote to next semester, He has to complete present semester first.

Exam Fees


For Mid Exam BDT 1000
For Final Exam BDT 2000
For Recovery Mid exam BDT 300 per subject but not more than BDT 1200
For Supplementary Final Exam BDT 500 per subject but not more than BDT 2000

Grievance


The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Students’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at First Floor of Building 1. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the officer in-charge of Students’ Grievance Cell.
Objective:

The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.

A grievance Cell solves the complains reported by the students of the University with the following objectives:
•Upholding the dignity of the University by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.
•Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
•Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in First floor of Building -1 in which the Students, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
•Advising Students of the College to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
•Advising All the Students to refrain from inciting Students against other Students, teachers and College administration
•Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the Students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
•Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of concerned persons.
Scope :
The cell will deal with Grievances received in writing from the students about any of the following matters:-
•Academic Matters: Related to timely issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, testimonial, semester drop, department change, Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
•Financial Matters: Related to dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
•Other Matters: Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, victimization by teachers etc.
Functions:
•The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students
•The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy
•The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
Procedure for lodging complaint :
•The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing/or in the format available in the admission dept. and drop it in boxes
•The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
•The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell.

Mark Sheet


Students can withdraw Provisional/Temporary Mark sheet after publishing their result of that semester. Final Mark sheet will be provided only after completing your Program. Generally it takes 4 (Four) working days to issue Duplicate/Temporary Mark Sheet after receiving application. Students are requested to contact with your department for mark sheet. You have to fees for both Provisional and final mark sheet.

Certificate


Provisional Certificate is awarded to Students after completing his/her all courses of that particular program. Main Certificate is given through convocation only.

Testimonial


Students can apply for Testimonial, after receiving application from Students, Register office issue Testimonial to Students. Generally it takes 2 working days.
